Abstract
This study focuses on the innovative application of traditional lacquer painting techniques in the contemporary decoration design of ceramic lamps, specifically exploring the visual transformation of classical lacquer language within modern lighting contexts. The research investigates the design concept of utilizing black purple clay as the primary material for the ceramic lamp body. Through comprehensive literature analysis, case references, design element extraction, and advanced rendering techniques, this paper systematically analyzes the color, gloss, texture, and decorative methodologies of lacquer applied to ceramic lamps. By extracting distinct visual languages-such as traditional lacquer painting, gold painting, and variable painting-and combining them with classic pot-shaped ceramic vessels, the study proposes a sophisticated lighting design scheme dominated by deep blue, black, gold, and partial vermilion hues. To validate the proposed design, empirical research was conducted using a structured questionnaire survey, evaluating the perspectives of 80 professionals across the fields of painting, design, lacquer art, and pottery. The quantitative and qualitative results demonstrated that respondents highly recognized the cultural value, aesthetic innovation, appearance design, and color coordination achieved by integrating lacquer with ceramics. Ultimately, the study suggests that the synthesis of lacquer decoration and black purple clay pottery generates a visually calm, warm, and layered artistic effect, endowing ceramic lamps with significant lighting, display, and cultural expression values. While this study successfully completed the conceptual design and rendering phases, future research will focus on verifying its practical feasibility through physical production and rigorous process testing.
