Abstract
In the context of military culture communication in the new era, cultural and creative products have gradually become important carriers for shaping the image of military culture and conveying its values. With the development of the cultural and creative industries, military-themed cultural and creative products are playing an increasingly significant role in disseminating national defense culture and enhancing public identification. However, current military-themed cultural and creative design still faces several challenges, including the superficial use of symbols, homogenization of design forms, and insufficient depth in cultural expression, particularly in the exploration of cultural connotations, the translation of symbolic elements, and the construction of systematic design pathways. As China's first domestically built aircraft carrier, the aircraft carrier Shandong embodies distinct contemporary spirit, national will, and military cultural connotations, thus possessing significant cultural value and research significance. From the perspective of military culture, this study first clarifies the core connotations of military culture and analyzes the spiritual values and cultural symbolic characteristics embodied in the aircraft carrier Shandong. It further explores the pathways of cultural translation and the mechanisms of visual expression in cultural and creative design. Combined with specific design practices, the study summarizes the pathways and design strategies for integrating military culture into themed cultural and creative product design, with the aim of providing references for both practical design and related theoretical research on military-themed cultural and creative products.
