Abstract

To address industry challenges in traditional tablet compression processes-including reliance on manual experience, lagging parameter adjustments, and inconsistent product quality-and to facilitate the transition of solid dosage manufacturing toward "intelligent pharmaceutical production," this paper takes tablet compression as the research focus and systematically elaborates on the core architecture and key technologies of intelligent control systems. Integrating cutting edge applications such as digital twins, AI algorithms, and Process Analytical Technology (PAT), the study analyzes the practical value of intelligent systems in optimizing material formulation, achieving precise equipment control, enabling real time quality monitoring, and establishing full process traceability. Through industrial application cases, the significant benefits of such systems in enhancing production efficiency, ensuring quality uniformity, and reducing overall costs are verified. Finally, the paper discusses current technical bottlenecks and industry challenges in implementing intelligent solutions and proposes future development directions, offering insights and references for the intelligent upgrading of solid dosage manufacturing.
