Evaluation Study on the Application Effect of MES System in Lithium Battery Smart Factory

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" strategy and the rapid development of the new energy industry, smart factories have emerged as a central direction for the transformation and upgrading of the lithium battery manufacturing sector. As a key component of smart factories, the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) plays a critical role in improving production efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring product quality, and promoting environmentally sustainable development. This study focuses on lithium battery smart factories, systematically evaluates the application effectiveness of the MES system, and constructs a scientific and comprehensive evaluation index system by integrating literature review, questionnaire surveys, expert scoring, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The evaluation framework is organized across five dimensions: decision support, business collaboration, energy conservation and emission reduction, production efficiency, and control capabilities. Through empirical analysis of application data from F enterprise, the study verifies both the effectiveness and the existing challenges of the MES system, and proposes targeted improvement strategies. The findings provide a reference for the application and optimization of MES systems in lithium battery smart factories and contribute to promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of the industry.
