Abstract

This study explores the reform of the industrial design talent training model oriented by innovation ability. With the rapid advancement of technology and industry, the demand for innovative design talents has been steadily increasing. Traditional talent training models face challenges such as a disconnect with industry needs, insufficient cross-disciplinary collaboration, and outdated course content. To address these issues, this study proposes an optimized model based on industry-education integration, focusing on strengthening school-enterprise cooperation, adjusting curriculum design, promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration, and dynamically updating teaching content to enhance students' innovation and practical abilities. The research shows that cultivating innovation ability is key to improving the quality of industrial design education and students' overall capabilities. Future talent training models should align more closely with industry demands and strengthen the development of innovative thinking and practical skills.
