Clasamentele internaționale ca indicator al performanței cercetării universitare din Republica Moldova

Abstract

Scopul articolului a fost de a analiza prezența universităților din Republica Moldova în principalele clasamente internaționale. Studiul cantitativ s-a bazat pe extragerea datelor publice de pe paginile web oficiale ale clasamentelor ARWU, QS, THE, CWTS Leiden, CWUR, URAP (edițiile 2025-2026). Informațiile au fost sistematizate și uniformizate în tabele de calcul pentru analizele comparative ulterioare. Rezultatele obținute arată absența universităților locale din clasamentele selective și o prezență limitată în ierarhii cu acoperire extinsă, precum Scimago și Webometrics. Analiza comparativă cu statele europene ex-socialiste și ex-sovietice evidențiază probleme legate de finanțarea cercetării, masa critică instituțională și capacitatea de inovare. Studiul de caz privind UNIRANKS indică deficiențe de transparență metodologică și de verificabilitate a datelor, subliniind riscurile utilizării unor clasamente cu credibilitate redusă în comunicarea instituțională. Concluzia principală este că poziționarea slabă reflectă un deficit structural de cercetare și necesitatea unor politici coerente de consolidare a performanței academice.
