Abstract

The research was conducted within the Master's Program in Human Nutrition of SUMP “Nicolae Testemitanu”, Preventive Medicine Department. It is an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and selective study. The analysis of eating habits and aspects related to lifestyle allowed for the identification of factors contributing to the excessive gain of body weight in women of this age group. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the diet and lifestyle of women in late reproductive age for the development of preventive measures in managing body weight. The methodology involved data collection from a selective sample, and the analysis focused on observing and describing the phenomena or relationships between the investigated variables. The results of this study provide an eloquent picture of the aspects examined at the time of evaluation and can serve as the basis for further researches and the development of intervention strategies tailored to the needs and particularities identified in this research.
