Abstract

Autorul operei de artă plastică, ca și oricare titular al drepturilor de autor și conexe, are dreptul la remunerație pentru fiecare caz şi mod de valori-ficare a creației sale. Acesta poate să-și gestioneze drepturile în mod individual, precum și prin intermediul organizației de gestiune colectivă. Persoanele care valorifică operele de artă plastică, fie că vorbim despre comunicarea publică, demonstrarea publică, retransmisia prin cablu, fie că este vorba despre remunerația compensatorie pentru reproducerea reprografică sau dreptul de suită, trebuie să-și onoreze obligația legală de a plăti remunerația cuvenită autorilor, conștientizând valoarea acesteia pentru autor
