Evaluarea fenomenului de contrafacere și piraterie din Republica Moldova

Abstract

Aplicarea drepturilor de proprietate intelectuală în Republica Moldova are drept scop combaterea producerii, distribuţiei și vânzării ilegale a produselor contrafăcute și piratate. Autorităţile abilitate cu punerea în aplicare a prevederilor legale în acest sens au conceput strategii și tactici care să maximizeze confiscările de astfel de produse importate și distribuite pe teritoriul ţării. Cu toate acestea, din cauza resurselor limitate de aplicare a prevederilor legale, dar și a modelelor mult mai eficiente de fabricare, transportare, distribuire și vânzare utilizate de infractorii transnaţionali, măsurile luate nu s-au soldat cu reducerea substanţială a fenomenului contrafacerii și pirateriei. Autorul prezentului material propune soluţii viabile în acest scop. Fiind un fenomen social, cu efecte negative asupra întregii societăţi, actele de contrafacere și piraterie pot fi combătute și cu implicarea plenară a acesteia.
