Consideraţii generale cu privire la valorificarea dreptului de autor şi a drepturilor conexe în industria muzicală

Abstract

Industria muzicală, care a devenit o ramură economică autosustenabilă şi cu particularităţi specifice bine pronunţate, reprezintă unul dintre principalele mijloace de valorificare a drepturilor de autor/conexe. Sistemul de drepturi de autor a consolidat o formă complexă de protecţie juridică care asigură titularilor de drepturi capacitatea de a dezvolta afaceri cu drepturile de autor şi drepturile conexe. Aplicarea cu stricteţe a prevederilor legale din domeniul drepturilor de autor și drepturilor conexe de către organele de drept va stimula în continuare apariţia inovaţiilor și mecanismelor noi de valorificare a drepturilor de autor și drepturilor conexe. În situaţia în care pirateria este încă un fenomen des întâlnit în reţeaua internet, platformele legale oferă utilizatorilor securitate și comoditate, iar autorilor și/sau titularilor de drepturi le asigură remuneraţia pentru valorificarea creaţiilor lor.
