Plagiatul în contextul protecţiei drepturilor de autor

Abstract

Fenomenul plagiatului este unul foarte răspândit în societatea actuală. Furtul intelectual se manifestă mai ales acolo unde există interes comercial sau acolo unde sunt acordate titluri de merit, fiind axat în special pe lucrările de valoare în domeniul economiei, artei sau știinţei. Lupta împotriva acestui fenomen este una actuală și conștientizată de către instituţiile de drept, însă lipsa unei reglementări adecvate, la nivel normativ, permite apariţia de interpretări și opinii separate, în special prin suprapunerea noţiunii de plagiat noţiunii de reproducere a operelor protejate prin dreptul de autor.
