Abstract

The development of tourist destinations in the context of cruise lines requires an understanding of the various interests and influences that shape the cruise market. In order to achieve a common strategy for all participants involved in the management of tourist destinations of a particular region, a unique model of destination management is proposed with sustainable development goals at local, regional and national level. This would enable the development of tourist destinations through joint planning and organization of the tourist offer and quality control of all segments of the service provided. This scientific paper analyzes the introduction of destination management as a unique system to promote the development and management of cruise lines in the Adriatic region.
