Dimensión productiva cultural en Argentina: estimación a través de la Cuenta Satélite de Cultura

Abstract

La cultura tiene un rol cada vez más importante en las sociedades, por lo que es necesario medir su aporte económico, que para ser comparable se estima en base a la Cuenta Satélite de Cultura en el marco del Sistema de Cuentas Nacionales. El valor agregado cultural representó el 3,49% del generado por la economía en 2014, similar al producido por los sectores construcción y servicio de intermediación financiera, y más del doble de electricidad, gas y agua y hoteles y restaurantes. Las industrias culturales, ligadas a los cambios tecnológicos, representaron en 2014 el 85,5% del valor agregado, mientras las artes y el patrimonio aportaron el 13% y 1,4%, respectivamente.
