Abstract

Wat betekenen alle ontwikkelingen rond ESG voor de benodigde kennis van accountants, hun opleiding en die van studenten accountancy? Verandert het businessmodel voor accountants? Wat is de rol van de keten in de waarborging van de betrouwbaarheid van ESG-informatie? We kijken naar een nieuwe ‘tak van sport', die geënt is op veel meer onderwerpen dan louter de controle van financiële informatie. Barbara Majoor in gesprek met Chris Fonteijn en Marlies de Vries, Kwartiermakers Toekomst Accountancy­sector, over ESG in de opleiding, uitdagingen voor kantoren en opleidingen, en een schets van de gewenste modernisering van het huidige opleidingsmodel.
