Akuaponik sebagai Pembelajaran Lingkungan Hidup Siswa SMA yang Selaras Misi Sekolah Adiwiyata

Abstract

Background: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertema akuaponik dilaksanakan berkaitan dengan pembelajaran lingkungan hidup. Urgensi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait akuaponik yaitu untuk memenuhi komponen program Adiwiyata, yaitu aspek kurikulum sekolah berbasis lingkungan dan aspek kegiatan sekolah berbasis partisipatif. Metode: Mitra pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yaitu SMA Negeri 3, SMAK Satya Wacana Salatiga serta kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober – Desember 2024. Peserta kegiatan yaitu 23 siswa untuk setiap SMA. Prosedur kegiatan meliputi lima tahap yaitu observasi awal; persiapan; pemaparan akuaponik; pekasanaan; monitoring; evaluasi. Hasil: Siswa yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat akuaponik antusias dalam pelaksanaan akuaponik sebagai bentuk pembelajaran lingkungan hidup. Harapan utama yaitu siswa aktif dalam pemeliharaan sistem akuaponik sehingga terjadi keberlanjutan lingkungan dan budidaya ikan-tanaman. Kesimpulan: Respon partisipan bersifat positif dalam hal kebermanfaatan kegiatan dan keselarasan program Adiwiyata sekolah
