A ciência económica e a problematização da habitação em Portugal: análise de uma rede epistémica

Abstract

Este artigo propõe uma aproximação à questão do papel da produção e difusão do conhecimento económico mainstream na problematização da habitação em Portugal. Utilizo como material empírico a análise de uma rede epistémica composta por três organizações: a Nova School of Business and Economics, o Banco de Portugal e a Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos. Através de revisões sistemáticas de literatura e análises de rede, exploro o papel da endogamia da disciplina económica na reprodução de ideias marginalistas e neoclássicas, com profundas reverberações no debate mediático e político – isto é, em contraste com as problematizações propostas pelos estudos urbanos e da habitação, em propostas de “soluções” fundamentalmente alinhadas com as opções governamentais de longo prazo.
