A sustentabilidade da oferta turística urbana: Uma revisão sistemática da literatura

Abstract

A sustentabilidade do turismo urbano (STU) é um paradigma repleto de desafios e oportunidades tanto para a procura como para a oferta do mercado. Esta área de investigação tem sido analisada sob vários domínios, pelo que o objetivo deste trabalho é a realização de uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre a STU, para perceber como a oferta turística urbana tem sido investigada neste domínio. A metodologia do estudo realizado compreende uma análise descritiva e de conteúdo de investigações da base de dados Scopus da STU. Os resultados deste estudo apontam para uma grande variedade de metodologias e contributos desenvolvidos pelos investigadores, tal como apontam para uma multiplicidade de áreas integrantes da STU, destacando-se o planeamento, a capacidade do território urbano, as tecnologias e os transportes, como as áreas em que os estudos mais identificam e analisam. Igualmente são apresentadas lacunas de investigação que podem e devem ser colmatadas por futuros estudos.
