Abstract

A entrada das companhias aéreas de baixo custo no mercado do transporte aéreo proporcionou grandes alterações na procura e na oferta de viagens aéreas. Pretende-se reflectir as alterações que se verificaram no Aeroporto de Faro nos últimos anos e as vantagens que estão associadas ao trabalho coordenado entre aeroportos, companhias aéreas e órgãos de gestão do destino. Os resultados apresentados estão integrados num estudo mais alargado de doutoramento em turismo realizado na Universidade de Aveiro.
