Determinantes da Permanência no Rendimento Mínimo Garantido na Região Autónoma dos Açores

Abstract

Este trabalho analisa a permanência dos agregados familiares beneficiários do Rendimento Mínimo Garantido (RMG) nesta prestação social na Região Autónoma dos Açores. Os resultados indicam que quanto maior a idade do requerente maior a probabilidade do agregado permanecer mais tempo ao abrigo desta medida, o mesmo se passando com o aumento do número de pessoas que compõem o agregado. Por seu turno, quanto maior o rendimento per capita menor a probabilidade do agregado permanecer mais de 2 anos ao abrigo daquela medida. Finalmente, o facto de o agregado familiar residir na ilha de S. Miguel exerce um efeito positivo sobre a probabilidade do mesmo permanecer mais do que dois anos no RMG.
