Abstract

Recenzowana monografia dotyczy problemu niezwykle istotnego w erze przełomu cywilizacyjnego, czwartej rewolucji przemysłowej i rosnącej roli wiedzy jako głównego zasobu decydującego o zdolności innowacyjnej i przewadze konkurencyjnej krajów na globalnym rynku. Autorka wskazuje na kluczową rolę międzynarodowego handlu materialnymi i niematerialnymi produktami wiedzy w uzupełnianiu potrzeb technologicznych krajów doganiających, zwiększaniu ich potencjału badawczo-rozwojowego i poprawie jakości kapitału ludzkiego przy równoczesnym równoważeniu bilansu płatniczego eksporterów tych dóbr. Celem pracy jest analiza tendencji w międzynarodowym handlu produktami wiedzy. Autorka stawia tezę, że od początku XXI w. w gospodarce światowej następuje znaczące przyspieszenie międzynarodowej wymiany tymi produktami. (fragment tekstu)
