Determinanty salda rachunku obrotów bieżących Polski

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest próba empirycznej identyfikacji determinant salda rachunku obrotów bieżących w relacji do PKB w Polsce. Na podstawie przedstawionego badania można sformułować następujące wnioski. Do wzrostu relacji salda rachunku obrotów bieżących do PKB przyczyniały się: proces realnej konwergencji oraz wzrost salda sektora instytucji rządowych i samorządowych w relacji do PKB w Polsce. Z kolei czynnikami wpływającymi na spadek salda rachunku obrotów bieżących w relacji do PKB były: aprecjacja realnego efektywnego kursu złotego, wzrost napływu do Polski zagranicznych inwestycji bezpośrednich w relacji do PKB, wzrost udziału sumy eksportu i importu towarów w PKB (aproksymanta otwartości handlu) oraz wzrost indeksu CBOE VIX. Paradoksalnie, wzrost niepewności (aproksymowanej przez indeks VIX) prawdopodobnie nie skłaniał do zwiększenia oszczędności przezornościowych. (abstrakt oryginalny)
