Liberalizm, neoliberalizm i ordoliberalizm

Abstract

Kluczem do rozróżnienia pomiędzy klasycznym liberalizmem, neoliberalizmem i ordoliberalizmem jest stosunek do wolności jednostki ludzkiej. W 1938 r. Walter Lippmann sformułował tezę, że głównym powodem wszelkich niepowodzeń myśli liberalnej było skupienie jej wysiłków wokół rozszerzania zakresu wolności jednostki ludzkiej na rynku. Szło to w parze z niedostrzeganiem problematyki kształtowania ładu gospodarczego, w ramach którego wolność jednostki służyłaby nie tylko niektórym osobom, ale także realizacji interesów większości społeczeństwa. Po prawie osiemdziesięciu latach krytyka ta trafia w sedno współczesnych dylematów myśli liberalnej. Doktrynę neoliberalną bowiem cechuje "wolność bez ładu". Dla przezwyciężenia obecnego kryzysu gospodarki światowej, charakteryzującej się nieładem, chaosem i anarchią, konieczne jest zorientowanie polityki gospodarczej na myślenie w "kategoriach ładu" (Max Weber). Oferuje ją podejmująca problematykę ładu gospodarczego myśl ordoliberalna. Jej niezbędną we współczesnym świecie główną ideą jest "wolność w ramach ładu". (abstrakt oryginalny)
