Abstract

Innowacyjność jest jednym z najważniejszych zagadnień gospodarczych, zarówno z perspektywy teoretycznej, jak i politycznej. Wiele rządów podejmuje starania w celu przekształcenia państwa w gospodarki oparte na wiedzy (GOW), w których innowacje są głównym motorem rozwoju gospodarczego. W krajach takich jak Polska, które nie są liderami międzynarodowego wyścigu technologicznego, ale których dystans technologiczny do liderów nie jest zbyt duży, kluczowe znaczenie w transformacji do GOW ma nie tylko zdolność do wprowadzania innowacji, lecz także zdolność do przyjmowania innowacji opracowanych za granicą.
