Premia placowa z wykształcenia wyższego według kierunku studiów

Abstract

Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie oraz wstępna ekonometryczna weryfikacja nowej metody modelowania decyzji edukacyjnych podejmowanych przez osoby podejmujące studia w sprawie wyboru jednej z dostępnych ścieżek kształcenia na poziomie akademickim. W artykule poddano analizie potencjalne korzyści, które determinują podejmowaną przez absolwentów szkół średnich decyzję o wyborze kierunku studiów. Wbrew dominującemu trendowi w literaturze przedmiotu założono przy tym, że wiele pozapłacowych czynników, takich jak prestiż społeczny czy styl życia związany z daną profesją, ma nie mniejszy wpływ na decyzję edukacyjną niż oczekiwana wysokość zarobków.
