Abstract

Artykuł S. Małeckiego-Tepichta został napisany w sposób "drapieżny" i wyraźnie prowokujący do dyskusji. Trudno byłoby zakwestionować większość krytycznych uwag pod adresem "filarów" ekonomii, jakie przedstawia autor artykułu. Filary te są jednak bardzo mocne i zapewne takimi pozostaną. Niemniej jednak zasadne są główne kierunki krytyki przedstawione w artykule: odhumanizowanie ekonomii i zafascynowanie abstrakcyjnymi, ponadczasowymi mechanizmami; zaniedbywanie badań empirycznych i preferowanie wyrafinowanych modeli matematycznych nieopartych na danych statystycznych; pomijanie społecznego charakteru gospodarowania, roli instytucji i kontekstu kulturowego; przyjęcie prymitywnej koncepcji homo oeconomicus jako aksjomatu wiedzy o zachowaniu człowieka.
