Abstract

В современных условиях, учитывая последние политические события в мире, вопрос экономических санкций приобрел актуальность для всего мирового сообщества. Строить прогнозы развития нынешних событий преждевременно, поскольку дальнейшее развитие политической ситуации предсказать сложно. Дальнейшее развитие ситуации, степень влияния санкций на экономики стран и их последствия в долгосрочной перспективе покажет время. Однако это дает повод, обернувшись назад, вспомнить исторические примеры применения торгово-экономических санкций в качестве инструмента политического давления. В настоящей статье рассмотрены некоторые исторические примеры применения санкций: предпосылки введения, механизмы реализации и экономические последствия.
