Abstract

O artigo discute a transição econômica e social pela qual passa o Brasil na década de 1920, quando prevalecia o modelo primário exportador em direção a novo padrão de acumulação, com a industrialização e a urbanização, iniciado após a “Crise de 1929” e da Revolução de 1930. A análise das principais transformações econômicas e sociais é acompanhada por um tópico que trata da importante – e controversa – questão teórica de Base e Superestrutura, expondo algumas das limitações deste enfoque teórico
