Abstract

The article is devoted to research of international experience of transformation of the relations of Central and local authorities in the decentralization process, analysis of the impact of decentralization on the efficiency of public administration. The experience of Britain, which was at the forefront of public administration reforms, Germany, France and the Scandinavian countries, allows us to see how different background, content and results of decentralization, which, in our opinion, is already inevitable and necessary in reforming the system of state management of Ukraine.
