Current Approaches To Strategic Planning Of Regional Development

Abstract

Today on the agenda in Ukraine was necessary to ensure the reality and realization of the set goals of the strategic regional development, using the latest management tools. One of the most promising and effective mechanisms for implementation of long-term regional policy into practice is strategic planning. Practical implementation of socio-economic development of the region to create a mechanism for its implementation. In this regard, it is important to clarify the place of strategic planning in the new system of regional management, to develop guidelines for the formation of socio-economic development of regions and regional socio-economic monitoring.
