The Corporate Governance Of Public Entities In Romania

Abstract

The paper aims to examine the application of principles of corporate governance for transparency and efficiency of decision and control at the level of local public entities. We intend to argue the importance of these principles of governance in the public entities to determine responsibility and management decision-making bodies in achieving the objectives in terms of reliability of financial reporting, effectiveness and efficiency of operations, compliance with applicable legislation.
