Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of various aspects of trade and economic relations between Oman and Bahrain with China in the 2010s. It is important to note that during the period under review, trade and economic cooperation between the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf with China (including Oman and Bahrain) significantly expanded and strengthened. This was largely facilitated by the promotion of China’s “One Belt, One Road” Initiative in 2013, also known as the “New Silk Road”. Particular attention in the article is paid to the analysis of the features of economic cooperation of Oman and Bahrain with China within the framework of the new Chinese initiative. At the same time, the author explores the priority areas of trade and economic relations and also considers the most important projects that were implemented on the basis of partnerships (or are underway) both in Oman and Bahrain, and in China. The article focuses on the mutual interest of the countries in further expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
