Abstract

The paper examines the uniform rules of the International Chamber of Commerce aimed at regulating settlements between the parties using electronic records. The author considers the ICC Uniform Customs and Practice for documentary Credits for electronic presentation (eUCP) and the ICC Uniform Rules for Collections Supplement for Electronic Presentation (eURC), as well as the Uniform Rules for Digital Trade Transactions (URDTT). Based on the analysis of the main provisions, it is concluded that the eUCP, eURC, and URDTT rules are forward-looking and have the potential to be widely used by participants in international trade.
