Abstract

The article is devoted to assessing the current state of transit through the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. With the growing international competition in the transport and logistics industry, improving the transit movement of goods across the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union is becoming a top priority. Currently digitalization and automation processes of transit customs clearance, which is a kind of driver for the transformation of the existing mechanism into a single system for the transit of goods of the Union, have intensified. The study aims to assess the prospects and main areas for the development of a unified customs transit system in the Eurasian Economic Union. The results of the study are presented in the form of indicators of the significance of individual stages of building the EAEU unified customs transit system.
