Abstract

The key objective of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is to increase exports of services and competitive products. Higher exports implies an improvement in corporate profits and tax deductions, increased investment opportunities, and new jobs. This project is being implemented within the framework of the national goal “Decent and Effective Work and Successful Entrepreneurship” established by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 21, 2020. The project is aimed at achieving a real growth in exports of non-primary non-energy goods by 2030 by at least by 70% compared to 2020. External and internal social, economic and environmental factors have a huge impact on the ways of solving such complex problems, as well as open up new opportunities and give rise to new processes in the development of export relations. Thus, the Covid-19 pandemic caused the deepest economic turmoil since the Second World War, disrupting both supply and demand, cooperation ties, making future prospects extremely uncertain. The pivotal question is whether the economy of Russia will cope with solving such complex problems after the COVID-19 crisis?
