Inbound Tourism Logistics

Abstract

Logistics approaches nowadays are used in different sectors of the economy. Th ey ensure continuity of productive process, lack of disruption in supplies, rhythm and reliability of enterprises functioning. But there are many other opportunities for logistics technologies. Inbound tourism is the area where logistics technologies could also be implemented. The issues of inbound tourism in Russia are as follows: irregularity and unevenness of tourist flows distribution; optimization of location of hotels and other items of tourist infrastructure; determination of priorities in service of foreign tourists, and others. These and similar problems could be solved by using logistics technologies.
