Abstract

In the article, the authors consider the positive impact of trade liberalization on economic growth. They emphasize that despite the positive aspect of such influence, some negative effects can be observed in some countries. The empirical evidence from 8 developing countries, for which statistics were collected, supports the theoretical analysis. Despite the achieved economic growth, it is relatively more difficult to improve living standards. This is due to the specific features of economic development in the studied countries.
