Abstract

The article deals with the topical issue of Russia’s non-resource export growth and cooperation in this area with trade partners from high-tech economies. The purpose of the article is to identify the key factors stimulating the foreign economic activity (FEA) – foreign trade and economic cooperation - with such partners. An analysis of the current fundamentals of the global economy and Russia’s high-tech production, Russian trade customs statistics (on the example of trade with Germany) revealed the determinants defining the neo-industrial export specialization at global, country, inter-country and regional levels. The determinants reflect the state of the global economy and global markets, the level of the country-exporter’s economic development and its production- technological potential, economic relations with the country-partner and their needs, key factors of neo-industrial specialization and its promotion on foreign markets.
