Abstract

The attention of exporters has increased to the import potential of African countries in recent years. Industrialization and economic growth apparently result in higher demand for imports of engineering products. In the article, the authors present Russian companies’ practice of using the emerging opportunities to export Russian equipment to the African market. The importance for export development of the Russia-Africa forum held in Sochi in October 2019 is underlined. Particularly, the opportunities for exporting automotive, mining, railway and power equipment, as well as the possibility high-tech products are outlined.
