Russian market of international container transit in 2019 and its prospects

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the current state of the domestic market of international container transit, identifies the main trends and difficulties in the transit container transport segment. Opportunities for increasing container transit through Russia using the rail transport are identified. The types of entities operating in Russian international container transit market are determined. The authors propose ways to improve the provision of international transit services in order to stimulate the growth of Russian exports of transport services.
