Development trends and investment attractiveness of the IT industry in Ukraine

Abstract

In the article, the author analyzes the development trends and investment attractiveness of the IT industry in Ukraine. The research reveals that over the past few years there has been a significant increase in export volumes of the Ukrainian IT sector and the number of specialists employed in it, which in turn plays a significant role in the high level of investment attractiveness of the industry. Based on the analysis of the current potential and future prospects for the IT sector in Ukraine, the author draws a conclusion about its favourable development and identifies 3 main areas for investment: investments in outsourcing, start-ups and in the production of gadgets.
