Abstract

The article examines the new trends in the development of international integration processes in different regions of the world. Difficulties in the European Union (EU), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) show the need to harmonize the national interests among their member states more thoroughly. At present Uzbekistan in tends to participate more actively in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), especially in the formation of a full-fledged free trade zone as the initial and most important stage of any regional economic integration.
