Book Review: Suglobov A.E., Smirnova E.V. Network model of formation of the Russian national innovation system

Abstract

An important question of forming a national innovation system (NIS) is discussed in the book. A well-developed NIS is crucial for the economic development. The authors argue that the main task of NIS is generation and commercialization of innovations on the basis of integration of science, education, industry and business in a comprehensive socio-economic system. The authors argue that NIS can enable sustainable economic development, improve competitiveness and secure development of national economy. They present a network model that stimulates cooperation between institutions in the field of science, education, industry and business. Who is this book for: For company managers as well as bachelors, masters and postgraduates studying Innovation Management.
