Abstract

In a context based on intensifying the digitalization of the firm's operations, software represents the first step in its digital transformation path. In this regard, it is worth asking how the use of software has changed in the industrial firms of the Partido de Gral. Pueyrredon (PGP) between 2018 and 2023, as well as which factors are associated with the degree of informatization of the firms. Through a logit model, it is found that the use of software is associated with basic technological capabilities, capabilities accumulated through strategic decisions, structural factors, and time.
