Abstract

The management of time is a fundamental issue to the job performance of the manager. Personal effectiveness at work is primarily a function of the individual's management of his or her time. Time management is the key to improve the use of this scarce resource and there are several ways (techniques) by wich a manager may become more efficient at work. Despite the growing interest in time management this should not be viewed in isolation from leadership, delegation ("an open-door policy") , ensuring effective processes of communication.
