Abstract

Küresel ekonomi küreselleşme süreci ile birlikte çehresini değiştirmeye başlamıştır. Küreselleşme sürecinin ivme kazanması ile birlikte küresel ekonomide bölgeselleşme eğilimi artmış karşılıklı serbest ticaret anlaşmaları öne çıkmıştır. Küreselleşmenin en önemli yürütücü aktörlerinden biri olan Avrupa Birliği, küresel ekonomide meydana gelen gelişmeler bağlamında ortak ticaret politikasını yeniden ele almış ve küresel ekonominin gereklilikleri bağlamında ticaret politikasını yeniden şekillendirmiştir. Makale üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde uluslararası ekonomide meydana gelen gelişmelere tarihsel süreç içerisinde kısaca değinilerek, günümüzde meydana gelen değişimler ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, ikinci bölümde Avrupa Birliği ticaret politikasının uluslararası ekonominin değişen çehresine nasıl uyum sağladığı ortak ticaret politikası bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Son bölümde ise Avrupa Birliği’nin Ortak Ticaret Politikası ve son dönem uluslararası ekonomik gelişmeler düzleminde gerçekleştirilmiş olan Avrupa Birliği ile Kanada arasında imzalanan Kanada Kapsamlı Ekonomik ve Ticaret Anlaşması ele alınarak, belirtilen gelişmelere örnek teşkil etmiş olduğu iddia edilmektedir
