La agricultura ecologica en Espana desde una perspectiva agroecologica

Abstract

La agricultura, tanato a escala mundial como de la Union Europea, esta suminda en una grave crisis, que tiene su origen en una compleja trama de problemas sociales (desempleo, envejecimiento de la poblacion rural...), economicos (incremento de los costes de produccion, perdoda de renta agraria) y ecologicos (contaminacion de agua, polucion del aire, erosion del suelo...). En este contexo, la Agroecologia se postula como un paradigma cientifico que puede de forma efectiva mejorar la sustentabilidad agraria. Este articulo presenta y analiza el desarrollo, los aportes y limitaciones de la agricultura ecologia para reducir las externalidades negativas sobre el medio ambiente...Agriculture is in crisis, worldwide as well as in the European Union. This crisis stems from a complex plot of social (unemployment, rural population ageing...). economic (increasing production costs, agrarian income losses...), and ecological (eater and air pollution, soil erosion...) problems. In this context, Agroecology is presented as a scientific paradigm that improves effectively agricultural sustainability. In this article, we present and analyze the development, contributions and limitations of organic farming to reduce environmental externalities.
