Movilidad laboral y estrategias de arraigo rural

Abstract

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo una reflexion sobre el papel que juega la movilidad laboral en el mundo rural y en particular en los procesos de arraigo. A partir del analisis de las Fuentes censales se exploran los paisajes, perfiles sociales y mercados de trabajo donde se insertan los trabajores pendulares que residen en las areas rurales para despues ilustrar estas estrategias con algunos casos recabados en diferentes trabajos de campo. El articulo pretende mostrar la importancia adquirida por la movilidad del trabajo y el potencial que encierran las ciencias sociales para comprender este fenomeno en toda su complejidad (por ejemplo, en relacion con los procesos de desarrollo local.) En este sentido, introduce el texto una discussion sobre sus consecuencias para el future del mundo rural y la oportunidad de su analisis... In this work we carry out a reflection about the role of labour mobility in the rural economiest and particularly in the processes of local settling. From the analysis of the census databases we explore the rural areas, social profiled and labour markets within which rural commuters become involved. Next, these processes are illustrated with some examples obtained from different qualitative field works. The paper claims to show the importance acquired by labour mobility and the potential that social sciences contains in order to understand the whole complexity of these social strategies. For example, in relation to local development. In this sense, the text is introduced by a discussion about the consequences of this process for the rural world and the opportunity of its analysis.
