Abstract

El recelo del consumidor europeo sólo será superado por una limpia clarificación informativa consecuente con la ratificación de la total inocuidad de la BST.....BST is healthy, safe and efficient product to increase milk production in cattle, and free of any risks for both consumers and cows. Except for USA, its use has not been allowed in any other producer countries. It has been necessary to make compatible the prohibition in UE- 15 territory with the import of dairy products, manufactured from the milk of treated cows, once its has been proved it is harmless to consumers. European consumers might be afraid and this will only be overcome after and informative clarification consistent with the ratification of the complete lack of risk of BST.
