Bio-oriented economy development: EU experience

The purpose of the article is to study the EU experience in the development of bio-oriented economy and to analyze the possibility of its adaptation for Ukraine. Research methods. Methods used: abstract-logical - in highlighting the factors that determine the prerequisites for the development of bio-oriented economy and in formulating research conclusions; logical-historical and comparative analysis - in studying the EU experience in the development of bio-oriented economy; strategic analysis - in assessing the possibilities of adapting the EU experience in the development of bio-oriented economy for the realities of Ukraine; a set of methods for processing statistical data - in characterizing the dynamics and relevant trends in the development of bio-oriented economies in EU member states; graphic to visualize the results of the study. Research results. The main provisions of the EU experience in the development of bio-oriented economy are studied. Possibilities of adapting the experience of EU member states on the development of bio-oriented economy in the realities of Ukraine are analyzed. Scientific novelty. The issues of formation and development of bio-oriented economy in Ukraine were further developed, as well as the already formed experience of EU member states in this field was methodically presented. Practical significance. The current state of development of the bio-oriented economy in the EU member states is analyzed, the main tendencies are identified and key aspects of the development of the bio-oriented economy in the EU member states are identified, which can be adapted to Ukraine's realities.
