Organizational and economic features of functioning of entrepreneurship in agriculture

The purpose of the article is to reveal the main organizational and economic features of the functioning of entrepreneurship in agriculture in modern conditions. Research methods. Dialectical methods of scientific cognition have been used in the process of research into indicators of agricultural entrepreneurship formation, first of all, analysis and synthesis. In addition, for the characterization of economic agents in agriculture, empirical methods of cognition, such as description, measurement and comparison have been used. To analyze the impact on business performance indicators economics modeling and correlation and regression methods have been applied. Research results. In the process of studying the formation of entrepreneurship in agriculture, it was established that powerful entrepreneurial formations of various forms of ownership have been created in this sector of the Ukrainian economy. The agricultural production by such entrepreneurial structures ensures the diverse development of the country's economy, taking into account the possibilities for the development of state, collective and private property. At the same time, a number of problems have arisen for entrepreneurship in agriculture today, which cause a decrease in the raw materials supply, plant protection products, spare parts and other means of production, a reduction in current assets and an increase in the amount of human capital. This situation prompts a reorientation of agricultural production. One of the promising models for the further development of entrepreneurship in agriculture may be the creation of new small business entities and the reorientation of those already operating in the production of environmentally friendly products with the sale of the latter on the domestic market. Scientific novelty. The main organizational and economic features of the entrepreneurship functioning in agriculture are disclosed and a methodological approach to the analysis of the dependence of the country's economic indicators on the entrepreneurship performance is proposed. Moreover, this dependence was established only based on the indicators analysis to one of the economic sectors. The models of the GDP dependencies on the level of socio-economic development of entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector are highlighted. Practical significance. It is advisable to use the methodological approach as a basis for analyzing the dynamics of business indicators in agriculture, in accordance with the statistical reporting of enterprises and macroeconomic indicators of the country's economy.
